Genetic Portraits Fuse Family Members Together in Amazing Photo Project

Whether it’s dad’s jawline or mom’s cheekbones, we all acquire certain physical features from our parents. While it can be tricky to tell just how much is passed down the genetic ladder sometimes, a new photo project is showcasing family genetics in a bizarre way.

Photographer Ulric Collette has fused together different family members in his genetic portrait series and the results are incredibly interesting. Everything from hairlines to lip fullness is instantly recognizable among father and son, mother and daughter, sister and sister. In a strange way it sort of cancels out the need for a family photo.
