Boy With Cancer Sells Hot Cocoa to Raise Almost $7,000 for Other Sick Kids
Believe in kindness and embody it in yourself!
Matthew McDonnell wanted to do something special for sick children like him. Since the age of three, the six-year-old has had three major surgeries, months of chemotherapy and 25 radiation treatments to fight a stage IV Wilms tumor.
His father helped him build a stand to sell hot cocoa in their town and within hours, they raised almost $7,000. All the money will be donated to Alex’s Lemonade Stand, a non-profit that raises fund for pediatric cancer research.
