Everybody loves a home-cooked meal and while you might think preparing a delicious dish is difficult that couldn’t be further from the truth. The world-renowned cooking magazine Bon Appétit has an array of kitchen tips and recipes to help make you more confident in the kitchen.

From what utensils to buy to how you can recreate that incredible dessert you had in Paris last summer, their goal is to help you stay current on all that is food and dining.

For starters, check out their video on how to make a classic bread pudding. It’s a warm comforting dessert that just about everyone enjoys and is a staple at dinner tables around the holidays.

What you’ll need:

Challah bread, cinnamon stick, vanilla bean, heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, kosher salt, orange zest, unsalted butter, eggs, raw sugar, sliced almonds (optional)

Put it together:

Tear the challah bread into chunks and bake at 300 degrees for 25-30 mins. Next put your cinnamon, sugar, vanilla bean, heavy cream, whole milk and salt into a pan along with your orange zest. Throw it in a blender with your egg and egg yolks.

Now pour this mixture over your challah bread in a large baking pan. Make sure all the pieces of bread are well-coated. Chill for 3-12 hours, remove from the fridge and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle on some granulated sugar and top with sliced almonds. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes and viola! The best bread pudding ever.

That’s just one of the many delicious recipes Bon Appétit is serving up. Here are a few of their other mouth-watering dishes that you can make.
