This Prankster Transforms Cars Into Cardboard Custom Rides

If you leave your car parked on the streets of Amsterdam, you might just wake up the next morning to find it looking like a cardboard recreation of a pimped out ride, as something from the Fast and the Furious movies.

This is the work of Max Siedentopf.

With cardboard and tape in hand, Max walks the streets of his city transforming strangers’ cars into absurd automobile creations. It doesn’t take him long to give a car a customized cardboard job, and once he’s done he just moves on to the next unsuspecting one. All night.

Whether or not the owners of the cars are appreciative of their auto’s new look Max isn’t certain, but the harmless prank he says is all in good fun.

“Individuality, self-expression, and status are more important than ever these days. But for some reason you see that things as ordinary as cars getting personalized less and less, while it could be a strange but great form of self-expression. I thought I’d do people a favor by giving them a custom-made supercar.”

You gotta admit, those cardboard spoilers do add a certain element of style to the average family sedan.
