Bacardi Outdid Themselves at Art Basel This Year

Everybody likes a good party and Art Basel knows how to throw a hell of a good time. While you really couldn’t go wrong picking your hot spot of the evening at Basel those who were fortunate enough to walk into Wynwood Walls last Thursday were treated to party for the ages.

The Dean Collection and BACARDÍ kicked off the Untameable House Party at the landmark graffiti art space with a concert featuring Alicia Keys, Hannah Bronfman, Young Guru & Nana Kwabena. Among those in the audience enjoying the music were Dwayne Wade, Lil Dicky, Terrance J, Daymond John, Mack Wild, and A$AP Rocky among others.

The Grammy-winning Keys rocked out to a packed crowd at the house party despite the rain with hits including “Girl on Fire” and “Empire State of Mind.” Later in the evening, Swizz gave Dwayne Wade a personal tour of the gallery who got up close to the artwork taking lots of personal selfies.

The Thursday night concert was the kick off to the three-night immersive experience in Wynwood where art and music collided. As a longstanding patron and with a heritage deeply rooted in the arts, BACARDÍ is serving as co-collaborator in bringing the creative vision of The Dean Collection to life through this innovative event. Intended to showcase emerging artists alongside notable, A-List talent, BACARDÍ created a platform for artists to showcase their passions and feed their untameable spirit.

Over the next two nights the Untameable House Party Concert Series continued to bring in top hip-hop acts like DMX, Wiz Khalifa and Pusha T along with other established and up and coming talent. It was truly a unforgettable few nights that Basel patrons won’t soon forget.
