Tonya Patton knows how to party. The entrepreneur might be in her 40s, but at heart she’s still a kid and has channeled that spirit into My Girl Party, her business that specializes in giving girl’s the party they’ve always dreamed of. It’s not something that the mom considers work, but truly loves doing “it’s always play for me,” she said.
The party-throwing mom first began doing parties for her daughter, Kennedy, and has since branched out to throwing diva, princess, and just about any other kind of themed party for other girls. “I’ve always wanted to help create a special memory for kids that they’ll never forget. It’s a special part of what I do to create those life-long memories for the kids and the parents.”
Tony doesn’t merely organize the party for the girls, but parties along with them to help them get into the spirit and have the most fun. The mom-trepereneur knows how important it is for young girls to know that they’re special and allowed to celebrate who they are and that’s the environment she tries to foster with each party. A celebration of being a girl and as Tonya would say “being fabulous inside and out.”
