His illustrations, while often brightly colored and light at first glance, raise powerful and confronting questions on the current state of the world.
Quiles’ characters explore our changing relationship with technology, religion, war, racism, abortion, environment, politics, economy, mass production and media amongst other themes, often bringing to light the darker side, and harder truths of each.
