When choosing an eyeshadow and eyeliner is the color of your eyes consider your eyes’ color. You want to bring out your natural color. You want to make your eye color pop and stand out. You don’t want the eyeshadow to compete with or diminish your eye’s natural color.
The basic concept of any eyeshadow design is to shape and shade in well blended progression of light to dark colors. Keep in mind these three key points. Light colors will highlight or emphasize shallow areas. Dark colors will recede or minimize fuller, more prominent areas. Also, be sure to load your brushes with a small amount of color because it will be easier to add more eyeshadow than to remove it. Consider ditching the eyeliner brush in using your finger for more control of makeup application, too.
Prep the eyelid and under-brow area with a matte-finish concealer, foundation, and/or powder before applying eyeshadow. This will help give a smooth and even application, plus it will neutralize the red and blue coloration of the eyelid. Tap off any excess eyeshadow from your brush before applying. This prevents over-application and minimize flaking eyeshadow. Add some eyliner to your eyelids and smudge for a sexy smokey effect.
With these makeup tips, you’ll bring out the full beauty in your eyes and be ready to hit the town for a fun happy hour or sexy date.
